1. What was the most difficult assessment item you completed in COIS20025 this term (not counting the examination which is not until the examination period)?
Assement 1is the bit difficult part for me, to draw the ER diagrams and gather the information about the given data models. To find the references it takes more time to find the information to complete my assements. And also assement 3 posting blogs are the interesting part and it is good to find the more information about the new things regarding of assignment and other details. All weekly blogs are related to assignment 1 and 2.
2. What was difficult about it and how would you suggest it could be improved?
I suggest that i haplfull to me in the assignment 1 and 2 about the traditional and modern object oriented analysis.
3. Name three (3) things you learnt this term in COIS20025.
I found more information about the traditional and modern approach of the system development. It gives the detaild structure of the system development lifecyle(SDLC).
It consists of analysis, planing, implementation, observatations, surveys are the useful to collect the information.
ERD (Entity Relationship Diagrams) are the logical relationship entity and dataflow which modify the data in to useful information in OOAD.
4. What career are you working towards?
SOD( System Development Overview) is the good subject to inprove the logical and physical data relations in the data tables. This skills could be useful in the database career and as a database administrator.
5. How will you be able to use the knowledge and skills learnt in this course in your future career?
It will give more knowledge about the database, data modeling, data design, storing of the data, and other data techiniques.

Main four Maintenance tasks are:
1. Corrective Maintenance
2. Adaptive Maintenance
3. Perfective Maintenance
4. Preventive Maintenance
Corrective Maintenance: The corrective maintenance is tally and fix the logic errors, it can refers the faulty network cables. when come to the maintenance is scale down in the SDLC life cycle, where the analysis, maintenance, investigation before implementing the solutions. For this request to be given a high priority and new SLS corrective maintenance to fix the problems and debug the code of the program and update the software.
Adaptive Maintenance: This maintenance is adapt the improvement of a operational system and makes it easy. The improvement is a new feature and this maintenance is similar to corrective maintenance. The major work flow in this program is to create the new reports form the small organizations and business.
Perfective Maintenance: In the perfective maintenance the changes in the operational systems to make over the efficient and possibly. In small business this system can maintain easy and less cost. In small business the system use perfective maintenance.
Preventive Maintenance: In the preventive system solves the problems. This maintenance requires analysis of areas where the problem is needed. In this small business this maintenance tightens all the required cable associates.

The four methods for changing the information system one to another are:
- Parallel
- Direct cutover
- Phased
- Pilot
Parallel :- This method can operates both old and new version of a system, parallel method is best to suggest the cost of the system failure in server. During this process the old system preferably continues to operate the new system tested carefully and found no errors to operate separately. In this is method the health centers can note the details about the child visiting information before child visit for the treatment.
Direct cutover :- Direct cutover system is installed to quick to getup the operational status, and also called instant cutover. This method is easy and simple, new and old systems not operate in the parallel. This system naturally used for the new system, not replaced on older system. In CHIS older system is maintaining the child records manually, if any record lost for any reasons there is no possibility to get back.
Phased:- In phased method the system is installed and brings in to different phases required by the user. The system will operate the existing multiple systems and replace the system. Using of this method is to reduce the risk and save the time.
Pilot:- This method use to implementing the new system at the required place. This method is cheaper than parallel method. This is the grouping of parallel and direct cutover . In the CHIS the pilot method could not contain the health centre information unless they saved the details in the old system.

- Name one way that the traditional and object-oriented approaches to information systems development are similar. Explain how they are similar.
The traditional and object-oriented approaches in information system are similar, traditional and OOD phases are almost similar in development the system. they are planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintance. In the system each phase is linked with the other phase. Most of the core or major Information Technology companies are follow the similar process of development the system.
2. Name one way that the traditional and object-oriented approaches to information systems development are different. Explain how they are different.
Traditional object-oriented system is to design the project and maintain, on other hand object-oriented system is the logical way to develop the project. It is combination of the logical such as inheritance, loops, polymorphysim, pointers, data stores, and back-end information. This is purely designed by the programmer. The programmer can maintain the logical side and experienced staff can design the basic structure of the project.

The Child Health Information System
1.0 – Health Department
2.0 – National Systems
3.0 – Health Records
4.0 – Donor Description
5.0 – System Analyst Consultant
6.0 – Grades
The purpose of the child health information system is to findout the child records accross the world. For that world health organization is (WHO) is apponted national wide defferent departments. Sofar there is no any records about the child, sothat they launched the team called (CHIS). With the CHIS programme can easyly know about the child information, diseases, vaccinesation, education, health information record and etc.
D1 – Child Record
D2 – Health Data
D3 – Child Info
D4 – Health Centre Visits
National Child Health Data
Child Grade Info
Vaccination Report
Child Medical Info
The child Health Information System (CHIS) process is keep maintain the updated records about the each and every child. These records can explain about the number of times child visits to the hospital, vaccination details, education reports, underweight child reports. Hence these information higher authorities can know the child to put the special care on them.
The whole information should be secure and every time need to update to the higher departments.

- What is the traditional approach to systems development?
The traditional approach for system development is depends on defferent stages, each stage is connected with the previous stage. This is development large transation system, the development stages are premilinary investigation, analysis, design, implementation and coading , testing, installation and maintenance.
- What is the object-oriented approach to systems development?
The object-oriented approach is fully depend on the programmer or developer side , it is combination of the logical and coading structure. the object-oriented approach is based on Encapsulation, Modularity, Polymorphism, loops and inheritance. This is all programming language.
- What textbooks, journals and/or websites might be useful to search for articles about Comparing and contrasting the traditional and object-oriented approaches to systems development?
–> A textbook of Hypercourseware.
– > The CAPA (Computer Assisted Personalized Approach).
–> Associate For Learning Technology .
