  1. Name one way that the traditional and object-oriented approaches to information systems development are similar. Explain how they are similar.

The traditional and object-oriented approaches in information system are similar, traditional and OOD phases are almost similar in development the system. they are planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintance. In the system each phase is linked with the other phase. Most of the core or major Information Technology companies are follow the similar process of development the system.

2.  Name one way that the traditional and object-oriented approaches to information systems development are different. Explain how they are different.

Traditional object-oriented system is to design the project and maintain, on other hand object-oriented system is the logical way to develop the project. It is combination of the logical such as inheritance, loops, polymorphysim, pointers, data stores, and back-end information.  This is purely designed by the programmer.  The programmer can maintain the logical side and experienced staff can design the basic structure of the project.
